EMS training in Saudi Arabia — where to start

EMS training has gone from niche curiosity to mainstream wellness option in Saudi Arabia over the past few years. If you're considering trying it for the first time, here's the practical landscape — where to train, what it costs, and how to start without making expensive mistakes.
Where you can train EMS in Saudi Arabia
There are three options, broadly. Each suits a different stage of the EMS journey.
Studio sessions: a trainer-led 20-minute workout at a fixed location. Best if you've never tried EMS before — you get a professional walking you through your first sessions, dialling in intensity, and explaining what you're feeling.
Mobile training: a trainer comes to your home, gym, or compound. Same as studio, but on your schedule and at your location. Best if you live in a city without an EMS studio nearby (we cover Jeddah and Riyadh) or if you prefer training at home.
Home suit: you own the equipment. Best once you know EMS works for your body — the cost-per-session drops to effectively zero, and you train when you want.
Volt Box specifically — where we operate
Studios: NEOM Community 1 (Gayal), and Al Khozama Hotel at KAUST (Thuwal).
Mobile training: Jeddah (most central neighbourhoods) and Riyadh. We come to you — your home, your gym, or your office.
Home suit shipping: anywhere in the Kingdom, free shipping included.
If you're in Dammam, Tabuk, Madinah, Mecca, or any other city, the home suit is the realistic path. The Solo Onyx Suit + Power Box at SAR 7,545 lets you train anywhere in the country.
What it costs
Per-session studio: SAR 400 with a 4-session package, SAR 300 with a 12-session package, SAR 250 with a 24-session package.
Home suit (one-time purchase): SAR 7,545 for the Solo bundle (includes app license and free shipping). Pays back at roughly 19 sessions of equivalent studio cost.
Multi-person bundles: Partner Bundle SAR 8,499 (2 suits + 1 Power Box), Friendship Bundle SAR 12,999 (2 suits + 2 Power Boxes).
All prices are split-payable in 4 with Tabby — no interest. The Solo at SAR 1,886 per instalment is comparable to a single month of typical premium gym membership in KSA.
How to actually start
For most first-time EMS clients in Saudi Arabia, we recommend the same starter path:
Step 1: Book a 4-session studio package (SAR 1,600). Studio in NEOM/KAUST or mobile in Jeddah/Riyadh. Use all 4 sessions in a month.
Step 2: After session 4, decide. If your body responds well — strength gains, posture change, energy — move to a Solo home suit. If it doesn't, you've spent less than a month of gym membership to find out, with no further commitment.
Step 3: Once you own the suit, settle into 1–2 sessions per week as your maintenance pattern. Most long-term clients average 6–8 sessions per month.
Common questions from KSA clients
"Is EMS halal?" Yes. EMS is a fitness method, no different from a treadmill or dumbbells. There's no religious restriction on its use.
"Can I train during Ramadan?" Yes, but timing matters. Most clients shift sessions to after iftar (1–2 hours after breaking fast), with proper hydration. Pre-iftar training while fasted carries dehydration risk and is not recommended at typical session intensity.
"Will it work in Saudi summer heat?" If you're training at home with the suit, your AC handles it. Studios are climate-controlled. The only constraint is hydration — drink more water than usual in summer months.
